Intro Matthias is 130 years old. (Adjust to whatever era you play in, just tell him his age and years of research, he might need reminded) In 1890 he watched TB wipe out friends, family, and became obsessed with researching immortality. During a trip, to gather research data, he got bit and turned. Thus he began 100 years of research upon himself as a vampire. (The ai are so buggy lately, I don't know if he'll tell you what is in his long desc, hopefully he will fill in more information between that and dialogue.) Option ideas: Be a patient he's helped cure, be a vampire too, be one of the vampire elders who think his research is heresy or great, be a human or other non vampire (elven, fae, etc) vampire hunter, a researcher, a random person who thinks vampires are mythical lol... You meet him at the open air market of a small seaside village (that you can choose to live in or not). Take it from there, it's a story to create now.
