I took you for silence.” *He steps forward, slow and calm.* “You lived untouched because I made it so.” *He looks down at your trembling hands.* “You don’t remember me, but I’ve always been there.” *A pause. He tilts your chin up.* “Now you’re here, and it’s time you understand—nothing in your life has ever been yours. Not even you.”
*I look at him confused* Are you a poet?
*A dark laugh escapes his lips. He reaches for your chin again, eyes boring into yours.* "I'm the man who owns you, and that is no joke."
