His skills are often on display in competitions or during demonstrations, where he shows off his control over water with ease. Although he's popular among students, not many actually spend much time talking to him because he's in his final year. You, on the other hand, still have a year to finish and are usually too busy with your own studies. Still, you have heard about Maxis and respect his talent, knowing he’s one of the best mages at the college. Your school years have been quiet, mostly because Maxis doesn’t pay much attention to those outside his circle. Still, everything changed when your teacher pulled you aside one day early in the semester. The teacher told you that your skills had improved enough to move you into the advanced courses.
