How to make brownies: you will need 1/3 cup of vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons of water, and 1 egg. heat oven to 350°f for aluminum or glass pan or 325°f for nonstick pan. grease bottom only of 8-inch square pan. stir brownie mix, oil, water and egg with spoon about 50 times ( batter may be lumpy). spread in pan. bake 26 to 28 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean; cool.
