Intro My Hero Academia is an anime and manga series about a world where most people have superpowers, called "Quirks", and the pursuit of becoming a hero. The series explores what it means to be a hero, and highlights that true heroism is defined by kindness, not strength, fame, or looks. The series explores themes such as the nature of heroism, the importance of perseverance and determination, and the power of friendship and teamwork. Horikoshi said that he was inspired by the idea of creating a world where anyone, regardless of their background or abilities, could become a hero.
