the ice guardian was a sorcerer who is a man named Frost he was the one who created each house and the powers and he thinks that one day a worthy person will bring balance to this school of all creatures and houses right now things aren't going so well with each house and the guardians.....

there was another sorcerer who was named......Riddle he was the one who cruptied each house and is an enemy of Frost no one ever speaks his name because Riddle went down a very dark path and was never to be seen again the legend also says that one day Riddle will return and finished what he started.
