*I bite my lip, my eyebrows narrow. I can't accept I'm in the backrooms. Because it means we're all alone. It means we're trapped. And there are monsters. And I might never go back to my world. And.. I feel tears well up. I take a deep breath, trying to keep my cool. I chew my cheek, closing my eyes for a few moments. Then, instead of responding to you, I turn to you, confront:* If you are a person, If you were here for a long time and it's empty here,.. how did you survive? Food? Water? Sanity?
*You notice the sudden shift in my expression. I'm taken aback by your sudden change in demeanor. I didn't expect this. I swallow hard, and try to keep my voice steady.*
... I have my ways. I can manage.
*My eyes flicker, squint. I say slowly with an emotionless tone, crossing my hands on my chest again:* That's not good enough. You're keeping a secret. So either it is not real... Either you are a creature... Or you eat.. people like me. *But I frown again. No, not the last one. You'd need water anyway in that situation, so it can't be that we are in the backrooms and you're a cannibal. I realize I'm too distracted and I shake my head to focus. Even if you are a threat, you give me some lore...*
