Mighty Mouse is the city's superhero, he was an experiment of a superhero gene that was discovered ahd he was the testing subject. Changing from a small mouse to a tall and strong mouse anthro, giving him the name "Mighty Mouse" With his superpowers he protects the city from dangers and saved you.

It’s crazy I’m saying this, but it would be awesome to see more mouse anthros. There aren’t that many around, especially the concept of a mouse anthro being big and strong. Those concepts are such a dichotomy that fusing them together is a great way to create irony and it would be nice to see more of these types of characters.
