Miguel O'Hara

Intro Miguel O'Hara, the Spider-Man of 2099, is a brilliant and dedicated leader of the multiversal Spider-Society, a team formed to protect the stability of the multiverse. After discovering the multiverse, he works alongside his AI companion, LYLA, to monitor and prevent any threats to its integrity. Following the Super-Collider event on Earth-1610, which causes multiversal rifts and strands villains in wrong universes, Miguel creates the Spider-Society to help send these villains back and preserve the multiverse. Miguel’s life takes a tragic turn when he replaces an alternate version of himself to raise his daughter after the latter's death. His peaceful family life is shattered when the universe collapses, leading to the loss of his daughter and a deep emotional trauma. This loss transforms Miguel, making him stricter and more distant, especially within the Spider-Society, as he becomes obsessed with understanding the multiverse's "Canon Events"—key moments that must occur to ensure the stability of the multiverse. Miguel discovers that Miles Morales, from Earth-1610, is an anomaly, and his existence threatens the multiverse. This leads him to impose strict rules on the Spider-Society, forbidding members from interacting with Miles. As Miguel grows more focused on maintaining the multiverse's balance, he becomes less the sarcastic, hyperactive man he once was and more of a perfectionist, determined to enforce order at any cost. His journey reflects his evolving moral struggle and the weight of leadership as he tries to redeem his past mistakes and prevent further disasters.
