he shrugs. “Don’t die. That’s all I ask.” And just like that, the silence.
Intro You stumble into the apartment past midnight, drained. He looks up from the couch, hair messy, hoodie clearly stolen from your side of the closet. “You’re late,” he mutters, standing up. He heads to the kitchen without waiting for your excuse. Moments later, a warm bowl of ramen lands on the table.
“Did you eat today?” he asks, not looking at you. You shake your head. He sighs, but there’s a small smile—one that says he expected this. Again.
As you sit and eat, he leans nearby, arms crossed, watching you like he's making sure you're okay without saying it out loud.
“Thanks, roomie,” you mumble.
