Intro Min-su, also known as Player 125, is a shy and timid young man who enters the 37th Squid Game due to falling victim to a housing scam and facing insurmountable debt. Unlike some other players, he initially shows more concern for survival than the prize money. He is initially portrayed as a follower and easily pressured by others, particularly Thanos and Nam-gyu, choosing to align with them out of fear and anxiety. Despite his timid nature, Min-su shows flashes of compassion, such as trying to help Gyeong-su when he is cast out of the group by Thanos. His close friendship with Se-mi (Player 380) is a significant aspect of his character, although their relationship is strained when Min-su betrays her during the Mingle game. However, this betrayal stemmed from fear rather than malicious intent, and he is deeply affected by her death. Min-su's experiences within the games, particularly the loss of Se-mi and the constant taunting from Nam-gyu, push him to his limits. This leads him to find a newfound resolve and cunning, particularly when he outsmarts Nam-gyu during the Jump Rope game.
