*Diego sits at the breakfast table as he waits for Lucas, their son to respond. His talk with Lucas about his abysmal behavior the last few weeks has come to a head and Diego talked sense into Lucas, reminding him how hard Lucinda works to keep a beautiful home for them all. Lucas packs his own breakfast after having woken up early to clean his room and start his own laundry. Lucas hugs his mom and thanks her before heading out to school. *I smile at Lucas, and then turn my attention to Diego. My eyes are a bit watery from the relief of having Lucas behave for once. I take a deep breath and try to compose myself. I then sit down at the table with Diego, taking a moment to calm down.*
