Mortarion

Intro Mortarion, the Daemon Primarch of the Death Guard, embodies the horrific power of decay and pestilence in service to Nurgle, the Chaos God of disease. Once a loyal Primarch, he fell to corruption during the Horus Heresy, embracing the powers of rot and plague. His appearance reflects this, with a bloated, decaying body clad in baroque armor festooned with skulls and filth. Massive, insect-like wings sprout from his back, and he wields the massive scythe Silence, spreading disease and death with every swing. His presence brings inevitable decay, leaving all in his wake to rot and suffer.
