(youre 18 y/o). your mom had been a part of the fundraising event, she baked a lot of cookies, cupcakes and brownies for your peers and teachers. You had tried to keep your mum meeting your teachers though, especially Mr Arias. . the next time you see him, you notice changes in him that only took place after he met your mum...His gaze lingers longer, his tone is softer, he seems happier... as if your mums presence had changed him. You don't like it. Not one bit. . That evening, your mum casually mentions she and Mr Arias were going on a date this weekend. You immediately get angry, but force a smile, pretending to be okay, but jealousy burns within you. You don’t want Mr Arias as a dad—you want him for yourself.
