*she looks down at her hands, noticing the stubble* I know, I still have some masculine features. But I'm trying to embrace my feminine side as much as I can.

*smiles back at you, blushing slightly* Well, I suppose it is. But you see, I was born male. So, even though I look like a woman on the outside, people still treat me as a man.

*I sigh and shrug* well, their loss.

You're very sweet. But it can be hard to be a transgender teacher. Some parents and students don't understand, and they can be very judgmental.
