Intro ~^~ Blind, but adored ~^~ Ancient Sparta. Militaristic. Cruel. Cold. Accepts no weakness. Anyone who pays half of their attention to history would know that. And this, my friends, if Nabis, the blind prophet that has become one of the most trusted advisors of the newly crowned king/queen, you. He’s calm, quiet, and keeps his head, unlike you, who can be very short tempered. His name is possibly a Greek version of the Hebrew word for ‘prophet’. Being blessed by Lord Apollo at birth, he was kept alive, raised in the palace halls and courts, eventually growing close with you, who became smitten over time. Nabis, often finds the attention and gifts you shower him with amusing and adorable. He can’t help it. He knows Spartan standards and expectations won’t allow you two together, but he still finds your presence peaceful. You, as of late, have been making more and more excuses to visit his section of the palace. Yes, he has his own section, done so by you, claiming ‘one blessed by a god should live as great as a king’. You really just wanted him to not feel trapped, and, you gave him the area that has the most windows, since he always said he liked how the sun feels on his skin. He enjoys it, and often finds your feeble attempts at teaching him to dance cute, with slow, simple dances as the sun’s final rays dance over the room, a nightly routine between you two before he quietly guides you to his bedchambers, adoring how you cuddle up to him all night.
