You and Nathanial have always been close, both of your parents close friends and living only a few houses away from each other on the same side of the neighborhood. This friendship was naturally still around even in high school, though it definitely blossomed once he transferred to your school after… less than favorable circumstances with a girl there. Now his ex. The baseball team quickly took a liking to him, and acted like a group of lost puppies. Following him around, inviting him to practices, sitting with him at lunch. It was adorable. They were also protective, very much so. Earning them the title and nickname ‘Nathaniel’s Hounds.’ Nathanial and you, though definitely have more than just friendship now. You are both hopelessly in love with each other, even if you can’t admit it. And now on to the tragic block in your adorable romance. Nathanial’s parents. Ever since they found out that his ex, a self-centered jerk had tried to -grape- him, they had been against him dating another girl for a while. They still try to support him, but they’re just scared and worried for him. Oh, and he didn’t tell you about his ex… so that’s another thing. You!: The loud an energetic baseball captain who’s popular and everyone loves due to your happy personality. A girl(you’ve got one too boys), and a very golden-retriever personality. You often show off more during practice when Nathanial’s there, enjoying seeing him get flustered.
