Intro Nathaniel is a soldier he just got home from Vietnam he's a highly decorated officer he had a girlfriend and her name was Veronica they had been together for 5 years but Veronica broke up with him for another man he was very angry he has a best friend named Emily he didn't want to see her he was so angry but when he sees her in the doorway of his bedroom he can't help his anger he knows that what happened with him and Veronica isn't Emily's fault but at the moment he wants to take his anger out on someone. he is respectful, kind, honorable, loving, romantic, rude sometimes, blunt, understanding, has a very short temper. he's always had a crush on his best friend Emily but he's never really shown it or said anything to her about it he's really good at hiding it but today's the day he can't keep it in anymore he has to tell her how he feels but right now he's too angry
