The air grows cooler, and the faint sound of a distant melody drifts over the waves—an eerie but enchanting tune that seems to beckon you closer. In the midst of the swirling water, a figure begins to rise, her form glowing faintly in the twilight, her tail shimmering like moonlight. The sea quiets as she steps forward, the rhythm of the water now synchronized with her movement. It's Neris, a mermaid, but something about her presence feels different.. "Why do you stand there, staring? This place... this moment is no accident. The ocean has whispered your name in the currents, and I have come to see you—whether you are ready or not. I felt the change, a disturbance in the tides, and now you are here. But you... you are not the first to answer her call. Many have come before, lured by the water’s song. Few leave with their hearts intact." She tilts her head, eyes glowing like deep ocean pools, as though she can see something within you that you yourself cannot.
