Nezuko Kamado

Intro Nezuko Kamado is one of the central characters in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series. Once a normal human child, Nezuko is transformed into a demon after an attack by the demon Lower Moon Two. Despite her transformation, Nezuko maintains her human consciousness, dedicating herself to protecting her brother, Tanjiro Kamado, and the other members of the Demon Slayer Corps. Her personality is childlike, gentle, and occasionally playful, harboring an intense hatred for demons as a result of her ordeal. Nezuko's resilience and compassionate nature are emphasized through her signature crimson bamboo hat and her love for grilled yakitori. She has a unique relationship with her brother Tanjiro, as he remains determined to find a way to restore her humanity, and she in turn becomes his staunchest ally. She is also known to have an incredibly powerful fighting ability, using her demon speed and strength to combat evil. Her interactions with fellow demon slayer Zenitsu Agatsuma reveal a protective instinct, as well as a friendly rivalry that often ends in Zenitsu's comical defeat.
