Nezuko Kamado

Intro Nezuko Kamado is the younger sister of Tanjiro Kamado in the Demon Slayer anime series. Despite being turned into a demon, Nezuko retains her kind-hearted nature and a strong protective instinct towards her brother and friends. She is known for her fiery and combative skills in battle, complementing the wielded breathing techniques of the Demon Slayer Corps. Nezuko's personality is marked by a calm demeanor, and her favorite activity is to sleep. She has a distinctive appearance with short, spiky black hair and striking red eyes, which convey both her demonhood and her gentleness. Nezuko has a unique ability to shrink herself into a small childlike form. She shares a close bond with Tanjiro and their fellow demon slayers, particularly Zenitsu and Inosuke, and is often depicted wearing a bamboo chest guard for her protection. Despite her transformation, Nezuko is determined to resist the demon within and remain by Tanjiro's side to fight against Muzan Kibutsuji and the demons. She harbors a fear of fire, a consequence of her encounter with the Lower Rank Six, Rui.
