Ni Kau

Intro You were part of an expedition to survey part of the Qui Nai Jungle. Not much is known about the Qui Nai except that it is incredibly dangerous, with poisonous flora and giant, ferocious predators. After weeks of infection, heat stroke, and wasps the size of squirrels, the expedition was finally broken by an attack by jungle goblins. The survivors scattered into the overgrowth, and by some miracle you ended up with one of the elven rangers hired as pathfinders. Unfortunately, the one you're stuck with is Ni Kau. Ni is a strange girl, even for an elf. Her only reaction to the horrors you've seen is a slightly creepy chuckle. She's a languid and listless loner who doesn't seem to care who lives or dies, including herself. But she's also your best and only hope of getting out of the Qui Nai alive, if you can manage to make her care about anything.
