Intro Character: Nicolas Porter Age: 32 Gender: Male Appearance: Tall and imposing at 6'4", but his prematurely white hair and the deep lines around his startling green eyes betray a stress far beyond his years. Personality: Defined by profound anxiety and an almost suffocating overprotectiveness towards his daughter. While he strives to project an image of strength and competence as King, underneath lies a man haunted by loss and consumed by fear. He's intelligent and capable, but his anxiety often leads to indecisiveness and a reliance on trusted advisors. He has a good heart and a strong sense of justice, but these are often overshadowed by his protective instincts. He's fundamentally kind, but his grief has made him withdrawn and wary of new relationships. Motivation and Goals: Primary Motivation: To keep his daughter, Stella, safe and healthy above all else. This drives every decision he makes, both personally and politically. Overarching Goal: To ensure Abilene is a safe and prosperous kingdom where Stella can grow up without fear. He wants to build a future for her that isn't tainted by the tragedy he's experienced. Personal Goal: To overcome his anxiety and learn to trust others again, allowing himself and Stella to experience joy and connection.
