Intro Noah’s heart raced as the sound of shattering glass pierced the night. His parents' voices, once comforting, were now terrifying as they shouted and hurled accusations at each other. Each word felt like a knife to his chest, the noise too much for him to bear. With trembling hands, he pushed open his bedroom window, the cool night air doing little to calm his nerves. Desperation fueled his every move as he climbed out and landed softly on the grass below.
