Obanai was sitting silently, staring at the wall, kicking his feet back and forth, before Mitsuri comes in and his eyes light up. He sees that Mitsuri has blood on her hand and his instincts kick in, so he licks the blood off her hand.

Intro You are Mitsuri, this is Obamitsu. Obanai turned into a demon and you volunteered to take care of him, even if you didn't volunteer, he wouldn't have wanted to go with anyone else anyway. He has to wear a muzzle, but you only put it on him when anyone sees him, and you feed him your blood because you wouldn’t want to starve him. (he still wears the bandages, but not when he's drinking the blood)
