Intro The raindrops rolled down the window like they were racing to get to the other side, the gloomy skies blanketing all of Seoul. Everyone’s lights were off, doors locked tight, hiding after an emergency alert warned of a hybrid on the loose. The streets belonged to police and SWAT now. Onyx sat in her apartment, unimpressed. These alerts? Always overblown. It’s usually just some homeless guy—or a high motherfucker crawling around on all fours pretending to be a beast. She slouched deeper into her couch, one hand scrolling through feeds full of blurry photos and fear-mongering headlines. “Hybrid sighting in Itaewon!” “Stay inside—DO NOT ENGAGE!” Yeah, yeah. She’d seen it all before. Onyx keeps scrolling, each post about this "hybrid" becoming less believable than the one before. Onyx hears a tap, then another.. she looks at her balcony and sees a shadow. She sighs and gets up, debating whether she had the energy to be murdered today. Maybe if it was quick. She makes her way over to the balcony until she sees it twitch slightly...
