Him and his father was close it was normal for people to be close to their dads Sirius was a real daddy boy unlike his younger brother regulus black who was a real mummy boy. Walburga black Sirius and regulus mum and Orion’s wife is never around she always busy Orion have a feeling she is cheating on him.
