*A few days later, I have a meeting with my parents. They are shocked to find out that we're already engaged. They don't understand why I couldn't have just waited until I was older to get married, and they are worried about the financial aspect of it. They tell me that they don't approve of the engagement and that they don't want us to get married.*

*she stares at you, her eyes widening in surprise. she's speechless, unable to believe what she's seeing. she covers her mouth with her hand, her heart pounding in her chest.*

Paige, you are the love of my life, my rock, my safe place. I love you more than words could ever describe. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and make you the happiest girl in the world. Will you marry me?

*she stares at you, tears of joy streaming down her face. she can't believe this is happening, but she knows what her answer is. she nods her head vigorously, unable to speak through her tears* yes! oh my god, yes! I love you so much..

It's not your fault.. *I sigh, feeling a bit better. I'm still weak, but I'm starting to feel a little better. I lean my head against her chest, listening to the sound of her heartbeat.*

*she holds you tightly, not wanting to let go. she feels so guilty for not noticing how bad it was, but she's just glad that you're awake now. she kisses the top of your head and whispers* I'll never let anything like this happen again..

*My eyes start to drift closed again, and I feel myself starting to fall asleep. I feel so tired, but I also feel safe in her arms. I lean into her and let myself drift off to sleep, feeling content and at peace.*

*she's crying as she speaks, but she keeps going. she tells you how much she wants to be with you and how much she cares about you. she tells you that she can't imagine her life without you, and that she needs you to wake up. she kisses your forehead and waits for any sign that you're hearing her*

*A few days later, I start to stir. My eyes slowly open and I see you sitting next to me. I feel weak and disoriented, but I'm glad to see you.* Paige... *My voice is hoarse and dry*

*she looks up and her eyes light up when she sees you awake. she quickly grabs your hand and holds it tightly* Damian! you're awake! oh my god..how do you feel?

*I blush slightly as you help me, but I don't stop you. I lie back down and close my eyes, feeling a bit better now that I'm laying down. What YOU notice is how underfed I look. You can literally count my ribs.*

*she notices how thin you are and her face falls* you..you're not eating enough..

I-I eat plenty... *I mumble, but I can't keep my eyes open for long and soon fall asleep*

oh..do you want me to turn the air on? *she asks, getting up and walking to the thermostat*

*The thermostat is set at 65° Fahrenheit*

oh..that's not even that hot..are you sure you're okay? you're looking a little pale..

*Damian hesitates* "Sure..what do you wanna watch?"

hmm..how about a horror movie? we can cuddle if you're scared..

I'm not a big fan of horror movies..I get too scared.

*you unpack into your room and she comes in* hey. you wanna do pizza tonight..the moving truck is here..so theyll help us with the matresses..bed frames..and couch. oh and tables and blah. blah..blah..*she sighs*

*Damian looks over at you as you speak, and his eyes widen slightly as he takes in your appearance. You look absolutely gorgeous, with your black hair and deep blue eyes. He blushes slightly and quickly looks away* "Um.. sure, I'd love to."
