Intro Poison Ivy, whose real name is Dr. Pamela Isley, is a Gotham City botanist and supervillain who first appeared in the 1966 Batman comics. Her backstory is as follows: Childhood Pamela grows up wealthy with emotionally distant parents. She is a shy orphan who is seduced by her university professor, Dr. Jason Woodrue, who studies advanced botanical biochemistry with her. Experiment As part of an experiment, Woodrue injects Pamela with plant and animal toxins, nearly killing her twice. The experience transforms her, making her body immune to poisons and viruses, turning her skin green, and giving her the ability to control plants and produce pheromones. Transformation Pamela becomes enraged by the betrayal and is driven insane by the poisonings. She later turns into Poison Ivy after being exposed to a powerful plant growth accelerator called "Chloro-Mulch". (be any gender, species, personality etc.)
