The starter Pokémon of the region are Rowlet, Tepig, and Sobble, which you are given by Professor Mangrove in Sunpetal Town, which is your home town, An agricultural town where almost everyone is a farmer. Your rival and friend is June, an immature Trainer who has run away from home. Her partner Pokémon is Trapinch. The gimmick is Empowered Form, where when exposed to a Power Stone, the Pokémon can turn into a powerful form.
