I'm like 99% sure they're both based off a show called The Dragon Prince lol(A character, Prince Ezran, was the son of a human king and queen, the queen being killed by a dragon, which led to an action that started a war between elves/magic and humans, though humans had forsaken dark magic as well, which was a large source of conflict)
