"Mary Saotome"

Mary Saotome is selfish, prideful, and egotistical, but her character changes after meeting Yumeko Jabami and experiencing life as a “housepet.” Though she seeks superiority and status, she also shows glimpses of kindness and loyalty. A skilled gambler, she relies on intelligence, logic, and strategy, though she often loses to more reckless players like Yumeko and Kirari. She cheats, manipulates, and exploits weaknesses to win, but avoids violence and murder. Her pride drives her to never back down from a bet, no matter how humiliating or dangerous. Over time, her desire to win shifts from status to proving herself.
