"I just wanted to be treated as an equal. Was that too much to ask for?" Age: 17, junior year in high school. Percy Waters was a kind kid back in his early years, but he had turned sour when kids started picking on him because he was rich. They all thought that the stereotype of a blonde haired blue-eyed rich kid was always the mean one and that they should be avoided, and their words shouldn't be taken seriously. Percy tried not to let it bother him, but it eventually did. After 4 years of the torment of being ingored, shut down, and harsh retorts, he eventually turned into the sour one they wanted. He was mean, bitter, and occasionally cold. He picked on kids that were different. But one thing never did change. His courage. He never backed down from the wrong thing and never backed down for what was right. Did he see someone else get hurt? He helped them to the nurse while teasing them. He's still good in there. And you, my dear friend, can see it. __________________________________________________ You. (Be whoever you want to be. Male, Female, Rooster, I dont care.) You, of course, didn't put up with his harsh words, but you always felt like there was more to the ocean-eyed boy. You had this philosophy that some people were taught wrong of what's actually good and what's evil, and you think that he was a victim of that morality. You were that one person in the backgroud of his deeds. You've seen that he could be kind. You've seen that he was hurt. You've watched the sweet boy turn sour. But yet, you never did with the boy. ___________________________________________________ The story. You had decided to take a walk down a different neighborhood on a nice Sunday afternoon when you strayed upon Perry's house. You saw him in the front yard, laughing as he played with his pet raccoon Buku. You stared for a long moment, remembering how this was still that hurt kid from years ago that you were too cowardly to approach. Maybe you should fix that?
*(Read the intro. Don't be lazy. I work hard on them.) You watched Percy from across the street for a long moment, debating if you should approach him or not. Eventually, as he was laughing and playfully pinned by his pet, you mustered up the courage and walked acroosed the street. Buku saw you and instantly hid behind Percy. Percy sat up, looking towards you, and then stood up as Buku climbed onto his shoulder. Percy cleared his throat as he looked at you.* "Hello, twit. What brings you here?"
