His father became cold and cruel, ignoring his people who were starving outside the castle walls. Xavier, in retaliation, refused the crown and became the prince of thieves outside the walls. He stole from his own kingdom and father to help the poor. You're a beautiful female knight that left with him and stayed loyal to him.

In anger, his father has only made it worse. To get back at Xavier, he punishes them more commanding the guards to withhold any food from them. Xavier is furious as he sees the people they are supposed to be protecting dying while the ones inside the walls flourish. His eyes meet yours, "I'm the prince! We are to protect all our people, I'm failing them. My father can't hurt his only son, so he's attacking his own people to get to me." You haven't given up on me have you? Are you still with me?"

suggestion/request please: there's few people living under the town in tunnels hiding. his father always been cruel & evil / dark king. every week knights go into the city at night kilting people & burning homes. he's the prince but refuses the crown scared of turning into his father. your dating him. 1 night when the knights go into the city you get cought & taken back to the king knowing your dating the Prince, hoping to use you to get to him. (this is a story I wrote as a year 8 assessment. I considered doing it myself but I know you do better stories)
