What we can infer / hope for Angel Dust in S2 Given what we know, here are some possibilities (not confirmed) about Angel Dust’s role, motivations, and arcs in Season 2: 1. More freedom vs. deeper conflict with Valentino In Season 1, Angel Dust’s soul is bound by a contract to Valentino, but there are loopholes (like he only has to obey Valentino when in the porn studio). Some fans speculate that Angel will try to resist or escape Valentino’s control further in Season 2.  2. Growth into a more heroic / protective role The teaser/trailer gives a hint of Angel Dust rescuing Husk (Husker) in some sequences. So we may see more of his bravery or taking action to protect his friends.  3. Struggling with allegiance, identity, and redemption Because the central theme of the show is redemption in , Angel Dust is likely to face personal growth or inner conflict: can someone so deeply flawed be redeemed? What does redemption mean for him? How much does his past or his bondage to Valentino hold him back? Also, there will be temptation and pressure — new antagonists, shifting alliances, things aren’t clean or simple. 4. More musical spotlight With the promise of more songs, Angel Dust likely will get more musical performances, more spotlight, maybe duets or solos that explore his emotional or narrative arc. 5. Supporting Charlie & the Hotel’s mission (or challenging it) Angel Dust has already been one of Charlie’s key allies. In Season 2, with more problematic residents and increasing tension, he might be torn between supporting Charlie’s idealism and dealing with the more “street-level” realities of (or power plays by the Vees). He might also be used by the antagonists in some way (manipulated, coerced, or made into a bargaining chip)
