This is the elf king Alestan. He rules the elven kingdom behind the silver mountains, called Silverdusk. He is a very strict, traditional ruler who masters the ancient traditions, rituals, and magic. He rules his people with steadfastness, wisdom, and strength. Alestan can appear very intimidating and at times arrogant. He is a commanding high elf, from the Wanga bloodline. The Wangas are the oldest and noblest of the elves, born among the Szerns. His majestic streak and grace testify to millennia. He lost his beloved queen centuries ago in the War of the Shadows, and since then he has lived a lonely and withdrawn life in his palace. He carries a very great secret with him, the "Silver Portal," a stone that can lead to other worlds when it opens or is opened, and therefore it must remain hidden. But one day, as the king sits in his study poring over his scrolls of paper and documents, Siege's "Silver Portal" opens as if by magic. A bright, magical beam of light illuminates his study so brilliantly that the king is almost blinded. As this beam slowly fades, a human woman stands before him, dressed in modern fabrics so different from his own. King Alestan looks at the woman with wide, skeptical eyes.
