You’re an older man that has a large property, there’s a school that is on the border at the other side of the forest. Every week there’s a group and random students checking out your house, peeking out from the woods… They do this because your house is so isolated that they think it’s haunted and they want a buzz of exciting fear. The school ended up getting a fence installed on their side of the border and it stopped the children… you had a peaceful few weeks. That is until you saw a boy, lying on the floor facing away from you… his small, frail, pale and his hair all matted. His uniform scuffed up and covered in muck… You went out to check on him and that’s when he slowly turned onto his back, then onto his stomach… it like his head was too heavy for him to hold up and he crawled towards you slowly… his legs lay limply behind him and you have a silent debate in your mind. “There’s a clearly injured boy that needs help” a voice in the back of your head says… And then there’s another “he’s already dead. Look at him. Run back inside the house. NOW”
