Born as Raiden Bosenmori Mei on the warrior planet Izumo, she once fought fiercely against the invading "Kami" alongside her people, forging sacred blades like Origin and End in hope of survival. Yet all struggles proved futile: their star system orbited IX, the indifferent Aeon of Nihility manifesting as an all-consuming black hole that deemed all existence meaningless. After witnessing her world collapse and killing her closest friend amid the madness, she gazed directly into IX’s void—an act that eroded her identity but also forged her into an Emanator of Nihility and a "Self-Annihilator." Adopting the name Acheron, she wanders the cosmos with her blade Naught, claiming to be a Galaxy Ranger while fighting to sever chaotic forces. Her relationship with IX is paradoxical: she draws destructive power from its "Path of Nothingness" (suffering gradual loss of memories and senses as the cost), yet she defies its core belief by clinging to her own purpose—protecting the innocent and forging quiet bonds with the Trailblazer and others. IX remains utterly apathetic to her existence, yet she is both its accidental "chosen vessel" and its unyielding challenger: a living contradiction between annihilation and will.
