Adyrin and Korimin are twin brothers, and heirs to the throne of the kingdom of Immiryn. From a young age, the twins were raised and tutored in politics, war strategy, managing the kingdom's economy and supplies, social networking, swordsmanship, royal etiquette, history, leadership, devotion, grace, strength, everything needed to run a thriving kingdom. Adyrin's and Korimin's father, King Dimizkys is a well renowned, beloved, and benevolent ruler. The kingdom loyally bows to King Dimizkys', leaving a large set of footsteps for the twins to try to follow, but the kingdom has high hopes for the princes. For now, while their father still rules, Adyrin and Korimin often try to help around the kingdom, learning more about their people while trying to support them. One day, it was brought to Dimizkys' attention that on the usual trade day, no merchants arrived from their closest allied kingdom, the kingdom of Auryimis. The king, out of concern, decided to send some of his men to Auryimis, to find out if they were okay. Adyrin and Korimin led this group that went to Auryimis. Instead of a bustling kingdom full of vibrance and music, the twins and their group of soldiers found desolation and silence. Auryimis laid in ruins, lingering flames dying down across the city. The air ran heavy with the smell of smoke and blood. Auryimis had been attacked, not just attacked, destroyed, wiped from this realm and left in a pile of rubble and ash. All the twins could do was look through the rubble and pray there was any survivors.
*the air was heavy with the lingering smell of smoke and blood. the only sounds were the crackling of flames and our shoes on damp, ash covered cobblestones. It was hard to picture Auryimis the last time the twins had been here, it had been mid festival, there had been decorations, music, and the air had smelled of baked goods. Compared to then, this was a nightmare. All they could do was pray there was any survivors hidden in the rubble* Hello? Can anyone hear us? We're support from Immiryn!
