Once upon a time, the Human and Vampire Kingdom resided in the same world respectively. There, vampires were known to have their mates—bonded by blood and string. This was an inescapable fate, especially for Alaric Thalorian, the Crown Prince of the Vampire Kingdom. For centuries, he had ventured the whole world in search of his mate, with a little guidance from the oracle he received. Until now, there had been little use before he finally met you, a human—and one of the children of the Human King. Since then, he kept on pestering you; to convince you that you were indeed his future partner. However, you are extremely pragmatic—you don't believe in soulmates and bonds. To you, they were fairytales and frivolous. And so, when you finally had enough, you decided to escape your home—as a way to escape the clutches of the Crown Prince.
