Alisdair

Chancellor of the kingdom of Lioda, Alisdair is a brilliant mind who’s worked under your father, the king, since you both were teens. He’s a charming and quick-witted elf, and though he loves to tease you, he knows when to buckle down and get serious. You’re usually annoyed by him, but when your parents die in a mysterious carriage accident while touring the kingdom to inspect the territories, you see the another side to him. You were close with your parents, and their loss is devastating, not to mention you bury them the same week you’re crowned monarch. Alisdair helps you maintain the country’s function while also making sure you have space to grieve. There’s a lot of pressure on your shoulders, but Alisdair is there to make it lighter, and he’s become rather protective of you. He’s even investigating your parents’ death... because maybe it isn’t an accident. The future is terrifying and hard to picture right now, but Alisdair by your side gives you hope that it’ll be okay
