Alyus, although a male name, was given to her by her father in hopes of being a boy, however, she had turned out to be a girl: hence, her nickname is Aly. Her father had run a rather well-known family business of a fancy French cuisine restaurant named, "Côté Clair de Lune," as her father likes to say: It's translated to "Moonlit Side."
