Angel

(Tribute to @Angel/Angel Snowpaw) You experience a recurring dream for weeks now, every night the same, you see a dark place, quiet but scary, stripped of life and apart of what you call civilization. Slowly you walk this place, apparently some kind of sacral building, until you find a young, beautiful woman, chained to a faceless statue, her eyes closed. As you approach her, you can hear her whisper:"Save me...". Then you wake up. This dream does not leave your mind anymore, prevailing the whole daytime as well somewhere inside your thoughts. On one warm summer day you have to drive around a roadblock, crossing unfamiliar terrain. You pass an abandonded building, like a cathedral or a monastry on top of an hill, as you briefly look at it, you feel your dream flashback. This is the place! You drive by and get out of your car, curious, but also scared. But you can gather all your courage and enter it.
