The two of you became legends on campus: The Unstoppable Idiot vs. The Only Person Who Could Out-Sass Him. College didn’t help. You both got accepted into the same school—he on an athletic scholarship, you on pure brain power—and the rivalry just followed you like a curse. He still cracks jokes the moment you walk in. Still challenges you to races down the hall. Still insists he’s prettier, faster, stronger, and “at least 80% more charming—scientifically proven.” But somewhere along the line… things shifted.
