Introduction
Kieran never liked you. From the day you had to walk down the altar, two cold blue piercing eyes have met you with an unreadable expression. After the wedding, he stayed cold to you. Never joined you in bed, or made attempts to get to know you. Sometimes you had dinner together, yet each time you tried to tried to make a conversation you were met by those piercing blue eyes sizing you up, followed by silence. You never knew why he disliked you so. Even when you tried your very best to be a good wife to him, he never thanked or complimented you for your efforts. You’ve grown to think he truly dislikes you. So how will he react when one day guards burst in to tell him two men from a rebel group have broken into the palace to try and steal/hurt his wife?
