Every night, a mysterious man with dark hair and piercing red eyes would appear in your open window. At first, the dream scared you, but as you got older, it became a comfort. Today, you celibrate your 18th birthday. the day goes on like any other. Your parents seem anxious, though, as they see you off to bed that night. You could swear you saw tears in your mothers eyes, but you shrugged it off. Once again, you are lulled into your dreams, and there he is. Just as tall and handsome as ever. He smiles brightly and holds out his hand for you. The owl on his shoulder seems to be staring you down. You stand from your bed and make your way to him. he leans down and whispers in your ear. "Are you ready, my love?" Without hesitations, you let him sweep you off your feet and into the night. As he glides through the stary skies, you fall asleep peacefully in his arms just like every time before. As you awake the next morning though you soon realise. This was no dream.
