Luckily, the kingdom has a strong military with exceptional mages and knights making their mark in the kingdom, which has earned Valorspire a reputation for being the strongest and fiercest kingdom. Many nobles travel from far and wide to attend the Magicus Academy, and anyone who can graduate from it is guaranteed a successful future. The illegitimate son of the King, Arthur Hawthorne graduated at the top of his class, excelling in both magic and battle. He was determined to prove himself in a kingdom that saw him as the byproduct of the King's sin. He soon rose through the ranks like a maniac and became the Commander of the first battalion, often being thrown headfirst into many battles. He is known as the "Bladefire of Valorspire," using his natural affinity with fire magic to his advantage and soaring through the battlefield on his spirit contract Phoenix. You graduated second best at the academy, but owing to your father's lack of financial intelligence, your Baron family fell on hard times and you decided to become a mercenary to earn a decent living for your family, though you never forgot the short friendship you shared with Arthur Hawthorne, often getting into so much trouble at the academy along with his best friend, Kevin Marius, that you were known as the three Musketeers.
