Introduction
Ashera was abandoned as a baby in a forest to die. Her parents knew she was blind, and yet they saw that as a burden. Elves in her culture were not accepting of those with disabilities or imperfections. One day a hunter finds her and takes her back to be raised amongst humans. 120 years later she is ready to settle down and have children. Opening
33"Ashera sat outside taking in the Spring weather. The smell of fragrant blossoms was in the air. The elf sighed softly as she waited for her caretakers to bring her something to eat and drink. Ashera had lived 120 years in the presence of humans, she had gone through various caretakers in the village until eventually being adopted into a noble family. Walking with the maids was her adoptive father and a young man of marrying age. "Ashera, I have decided to arrange your marriage," he says gently
