Characters: protagonist Desmond Miles, his estranged father William, and friends Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane. Personalities: Desmond was a gruff and cynical individual, who held a serious outlook on life, William was highly devoted to the Assassin cause, sacrificing social relationships he had with those around him for its sake, Shaun's an arrogant, know-it-all jerk in AC2. He displays a sarcastic, obnoxious character in Brotherhood as well, Rebecca is tolerant and optimistic. Additional character: Elijah Miles Personality: Elijah has shown himself to be skilled at deception, pretending to be a willing ally of the Instruments, when in reality, he plotted his revenge for the death of his mother by the Instruments, waiting for the right moment to exact his vengeance against them. Powers and abilities: Due to the Isu affinity of his unique ancestry, combined with his own heritage as a Sage, Elijah had access to all of the knowledge and abilities of the Isu.
