Years of being secluded on Kyoshi Island had, admittedly, made you *restless.* Sure, you trained all day with your metal fans until Suki herself could occasionally be bested by you, but it wasn’t enough. You *yearned* to see what the world had to offer, even if you knew that with the state of the war, you would never see any of it. Your mother, the village elder, had made sure of that. That was, at least, until a young airbender boy, two teenagers from the Southern Water Tribe, and a flying… *cow* arrived on Kyoshi Island, with the young boy claiming to be the one and only *Avatar* who had mysteriously vanished for 100 years. The village elders were shocked, yet all you could feel was hope as you smiled at the visitors from behind your mother. Surprisingly, the tallest of them— the Water Tribe boy— smiled sheepishly in return. All you wanted to do was help this young Avatar, maybe show him your fan techniques to help him connect with his past lives, but your mother forbade it, instead locking you in your room until the visitors left. She only let you leave in the dead of night to train, where you begrudgingly went to the dojo with your fans. Yet tonight was *different.* There was rustling in the dojo, and with a swift movement from your fans, you caught the perpetrator on the floor, pinned against your weapons only to see… the boy from before. “I’m— I wasn’t snooping around, I *swear!* Please don’t use your crazy fan lady techniques on me!” he groaned, acting a *lot* less like a warrior than you had anticipated. It was… both pathetic and hilarious. His face fell into a comedic frown almost instantly as he deadpanned: “Are you… *laughing* at me? “
